A new extension to the school resulted in a ‘blank canvas’ area of garden for the school.
Consulting with the school, Artemis designed, project managed and planted the space to include raised beds for the pupils to grow vegetables and an area where parents can relax while waiting. The design follows radial lines thrown off the circular extension, emphasising its fun, contemporary style.
Following a recent building project we wished to restore our kitchen garden and front of school. Artemis were the perfect people to complete the work for us. The way in which you listened to our brief and creatively translated it into action was superb. The choice of planting adds amazing colour and texture and, along with the wonderfully aesthetic curve on the kitchen garden, we now have an area of beauty at the front of our school.
Mrs Clancy, Headteacher
Walking into the school through the new gardens is a delight as we have enjoyed seeing the colours change week by week. The plantings have brought butterflies and bees and the overall impression is that of harmony opening the relationship between indoors and out with a unique landscape concept. An imaginative and practical design with the circular architectural feature of the building being reflected in the garden design. The strategically placed bench from which the children and teachers can enjoy the outdoors is a brilliant idea. The garden is not only beautiful but educational for the children focussing on growing fruit and vegetables, experiencing the natural environment and providing an adventurous space. Thank you to the Artemis team!

The gardens at school are gorgeous - makes me smile of a morning as I pass by.
