The New Venue’s Play Area at Boughton Pocket Park was officially opened on 11th December 2010 by Father Christmas!

Artemis have been involved in proposals for Boughton Pocket Park’s improved play area from Stage 2 of the Playbuilder application, creating visuals suggesting a ‘look and feel’ for the proposals to accompany the application.

Having been successfully selected, and awarded just under £50,000 from Playbuilder, designs were carried forward, and presented to a Playbuilder Review Panel.

The Pocket Park Committee have also applying for a Community Spaces grant for environmental improvements to the Park, including a perimeter pathway to increase access and to improve the large pond.

Artemis are working in conjunction with the River Nene Regional Park on the project, and all planning is being carried out in close partnership with the Boughton Pocket Park Committee who have held extensive consultations to inform the proposals, and have also held a number of fund-raising events to support the project.
