Landscape Partnership Heritage Lottery Fund

Our projects included writing bids for the Landscape Partnership Heritage Lottery Fund where we prepared and implemented a positive Landscape Strategy for a significant area of ancient woodland, Salcey Forest and Yardley Chase. This would contribute to the conservation and enhancement of an important environmental character area of Northamptonshire as managed and sustainable Green Infrastructure in the heart of the Milton Keynes South Midlands (MKSM) growth area.

Working with consultants Lanarca, Artemis carried out the preparation of the submission and worked in partnership with Strategic Partners Compton Estates Management Services, South Northamptonshire Council, Forestry Commission and Ministry of Defence (MOD) – Defence Estates Operations North, Northamptonshire County Council.

The project also worked alongside delivery partners Northamptonshire Archaeology.
