Bury Mount, Moat Lane, Towcester

Bury Mount, a Scheduled Ancient Monument (SAM) and the nearby Water Meadows park, in Towcester, won the restoration category at the Museums and Heritage Awards 2011. Located within Easton Neston, a Grade II* Listed Park and Garden to the east of Towcester town centre and the main A5 London Holyhead Trunk Road.

We were invited to submit a sensitive landscape proposal to include the mound and adjacent water meadows. The surrounding development proposals also integrate new shops, offices, a new hotel and library.

The renovations were led by South Northamptonshire Council, Northamptonshire County Council and the West Northamptonshire Development Corporation (WNDC).
