Larger strategic projects have mainly been based across the Milton Keynes and South Midlands Growth Area working as consultants to the River Nene Regional Park (RNRP) implementing the development of Signature Projects with Public, Private and Voluntary Sector organisations.

Artemis have also contributed to partnership and community engagement, funding and promotional development within Northamptonshire’s emerging Green Infrastructure network.

Other projects included the development of feasibility studies, initial design concepts, master planning and the submission of a Landscape Partnership Scheme to the Heritage Lottery Fund (Yardley Chase and Salcey Forest) for a significant area of ancient woodland in South Northamptonshire. The RNRP secured funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund to prepare and implement a positive Landscape Strategy for a significant area of ancient woodland, Salcey Forest and Yardley Chase. This would contribute to the conservation and enhancement of an important environmental character area of Northamptonshire as managed and sustainable Green Infrastructure in the heart of the Milton Keynes South Midlands (MKSM) growth area.

We have also managed the coordination and design of the RNRP’s ‘SPACE’ magazine. This was designed to inform key stakeholders and partners of our GI projects progress and was a biannual publication, ‘SPACE’, running parallel with the RNRP website where we provided general support and development within the team and on the overall project work.

Community Engagement Workshops / Education Workshops

In conjunction with the River Nene Regional Park Artemis have carried community Engagement projects and supported green infrastructure / planning workshops. Further community engagement work has been based around educational establishments, liaising with teaching professionals and the desire to include green infrastructure / landscaped spaces within the national curriculum.
